Imagine being away for the weekend in Leeuwarden or visiting the city for one day and you want to make it something to remember….. What would be more special then enjoying the beautiful city and ‘Prinsentuin’ from an authentic Venetian Gondola? Just the two of you or with friends! You book the gondola with gondolier and are free to plan your own route. All in consultation with the gondolier of course… The gondola holds 6 people at a time (8 people, in consultation). A great idea for a bachelor-party, family-day, company-outing…..just about everything really….
Be amazed by this unique way of seeing the city. The gondolier will show you alle the sights, tells you all you want to know about Leeuwarden and about the Gondola.
Boarding is on the Nieuwestad, at the jetty opposite the big C&A store, but there are other possibilities, just ask the Gondolier!

Booking is available on-line, through email or phone of through whatsapp. The private gondola is available from Wednesday through Sunday.
Price from € 17,- per person (with 6 persons); The private gondola can be booked for € 100,- for an hour.
Route Inner City and the ‘Prinsentuin’.
This beautiful route will take you through the entire inner city, the Westersingel and the famous park ‘The Prinsentuin’. We’ll pass many sights in Leeuwarden, like the Boniface-church, the Oldehove and also the house where the infamous Mata Hari was born.
The tour will take 60 – 75 minutes
Standard boarding for this route will be at the jetty on the Nieuwestad, opposite the big C&A store. If you would like a different place to board or a different route, please let us know and we will make it happen! Check here for alternative routes.
