Make your day out in Leeuwarden even more special by taking a tour by Venetian gondola through the inner city! Or complete the day by taking a gondolatour followed by a perfect Italian dinner at the ‘Burgemeester van Napels‘.
No matter how you look at it, it is always a great idea! Let the gondolier take you on a cruise, while you sip your drink! Followed by a great start of your evening with a delicious Neapolitan Pizza of Pasta! Choose the wonderful Neapolitan cuisine of the ‘Burgemeester van Napels’. The restaurant is just a 2 minute walk from the jetty where you board the gondola, an ideal combination! The restaurant will welcome you with a glass of prosecco and you have a choice from a 3 course selection menu.
The standard is the order of gondola first, dinner second, but if you would like it the other way around, feel free to ask about the possibilities. You could also do gondola – lunch! Of course there is a wide selection of dishes to choose from and the restaurant will take into account any dietary wishes you have, or any allergies you have. In short: best thing is to contact us and we will make you a deal you can’t resist!
Boarding is on the Nieuwestad, at the jetty opposite the big C&A store. If you would like to board somewhere else, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you, if possible!
Booking can be done on-line, through email, phone or through whatsapp. Now in off-season the Mayor’s gondola can be booked Saturday and Sunday. from 11:00 o’clock onwards and during the week from 5 o’clock pm.

Route Inner City and the ‘Prinsentuin’.
This beautiful route will take you through the entire inner city, the Noordersingel and the famous park ‘The Prinsentuin’. We’ll pass many sights in Leeuwarden, like the Boniface-church, the Oldehove and also the house where the infamous Mata Hari was born.
The tour will take 60 – 75 minutes
Standard boarding for this route will be at the jetty on the Nieuwestad, opposite the big C&A store. If you would like a different place to board or a different route, please let us know and we will make it happen!
